Biography / Biografia
Tania Iraheta was born in Chile. She immigrated to Canada in 1981.
She has a diploma in Graphic Design and Multimedia Development.
Over the past 30 years of painting and experimenting Tania has learned to work in various media such as watercolors, acrylics, pastels and oils and is continually attending workshops to further develop her painting skills.
Her art is influenced by her Latin American roots making the indigenous people of the Americas her favourite subject of inspiration.
She enjoy teaching art to the Latin American community and is currently the art instructor for the Latin Brushes Art Group at Casa Maiz.

Tiene un diploma en Artes graficas y en Desarrollo de multimedia.
En los ultimos 30 años de pintar y experimentar Tania ha aprendido a trabajar en varias tecnicas como acuarela, pasteles, acrilicos y oleos y esta continuamente atendiendo talleres para mejorar y desarrollar su trabajo aun mas.
Su arte esta influenciado por sus raices Latinas haciendo las gentes indigenas de las Americas su tema favorito de inspiracion.
Le gusta enseñar arte a la comunidad Latina y es la instructora de el Grupo de Arte Pinceles Latino en Casa Maiz.
